Hermes Abrasives Australia was founded in 1977 as a subsidiary of Hermes Germany.  It was founded as a converting manufacturing business to supply the Australian / New Zealand Markets. Hermes Australia showed steady growth over the ensuing years, becoming a market leader in the Industrial market by the late 1990’s and then became Australian owned in 2009, and still to today, operates converting manufacturing in its Braeside, Victoria Head Office. Today, Hermes Australia, has sales offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland, New Zealand.  We are fully backed by Hermes Germany and we are constantly having German Engineers working with our team to ensure that the latest technologies and products are being brought to market. The biggest asset Hermes has is the knowledge and experience of its local team, in Management and Sales, the average industry experience per employee is 9 years and production is 10 years.
